Innovative process in the manufacture of quality cork stoppers
Innovative Process in the Manufacture of Quality Cork Stoppers Parramon Exportap produces its three lines of stoppers (natural cork, microgranulated cork, and specialties) using an industrial system composed of eight manufacturing phases.
The process begins with the maturation of the cork. Subsequently, the material undergoes a unique rehydration system (patented), which consists of a continuous clean water shower. Next, the cork is subjected to a cutting and drilling process using the latest technological advances. The following stage includes a pioneering selection system, based on artificial vision, followed by laser printing. The finished product is stored in stainless steel containers. In the case of specialty stoppers, a capsule of metal, plastic, wood, or glass is applied.
Finally, to ensure the integrity of the product until its delivery to the customer and its subsequent storage, Parramon Exportap uses a unique packaging system, in double-layer bags of aluminized polyethylene for food use, ensuring the total airtightness and protection of the stoppers.
