Valtravieso x Arlanza
At Parramon Exportap, we have dedicated more than six decades to promoting forest conservation through responsible cork extraction. Our commitment to sustainability is evident in all stages of our production chain, where we apply water reuse practices and source energy from solar panels.
In addition, we support initiatives that promote environmental protection. This year, we collaborated in the reforestation project of the Sabinares del Arlanza Natural Park, an area of great ecological importance that was affected by a fire in 2022.
The “Valtravieso x Arlanza” project is a partnership between the Regulatory Council of the Arlanza Designation of Origin and Bodegas Valtravieso. Both entities, with experience in viticulture and sustainability, not only provide their expertise and logistical resources, but also an active commitment to the local community for the recovery of the affected area.
The main purpose of this initiative is to reforest the Sabinares Natural Park by planting 1,945 trees. It also seeks to raise awareness of the importance of participating in the conservation of the environment, highlighting the ecological and heritage value of this natural park, recognized as the largest and best preserved juniper forest in the world.
At Parramon Exportap, we believe in collaboration and collective commitment as essential elements to face the environmental challenges that affect us all.
